Avastin MEDICAL TREATMENT  Intravitreal bevacizumab injection-a prescription
medication approved for the treatment of cancer but used "off-label"
to inhibit the growth of abnormal blood vessels in wet macular degeneration

Epimacular membrane removal

SURGERY  Macula surgery utilizing various delicate methods of removing surface "scarring" or membranes from the retina at the center of vision.

DIAGNOSTIC TEST   A photographic study of the retinal vessels using
a special camera and dye placed in the veins of the arm.

Fundus Photography

DIAGNOSTIC TEST   A photographic study used to show retinal disease

ICG Indocyanine Green DIAGNOSTIC TEST A dye staining test used intraoperatively for the differentiation of a peeled ILM from an epiretinal membrane. ICG chorioangiography, similar to fluorescein angiography, is used to diagnose pathology of the retina.
IVK MEDICAL TREATMENT  A steroidal antiinflammatory prescription drug used intravitreally
